We keep cookie use minimal and first-party. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies, no ad networks, no cross-site trackers.

What we use

• Session cookie — required to keep you signed in while you use the site. Deleted when you log out or your session expires.
• Remember-me cookie — optional, only set if you check "remember me" at login. Lets you stay signed in across visits.
• Analytics visitor ID — a first-party, anonymous identifier used only to distinguish new vs. returning visitors in our own traffic stats. Not shared with any third party, not used for advertising.

Why we keep it this minimal

We don't run ads, so we have no reason to run ad-tracking cookies. Our analytics are self-hosted specifically so visitor behavior never leaves our own systems.

Your control

You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so will sign you out. Because we don't use tracking/advertising cookies, there is no ad-preference opt-out needed — see Your Privacy Choices for the full picture on data sale/sharing (there isn't any).
