Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy sets the ground rules for using Oversize Ops, in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
Real information only
Business listings must use the business's real name, real DOT/MC number where applicable, and accurate contact information. Personal profiles should represent a real person. Do not create a profile impersonating another person or business.
Prohibited conduct
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent company or verification information
- Impersonating another business, person, or Oversize Ops staff
- Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct toward another user
- Scraping, bulk-downloading, or automated collection of directory data without permission
- Attempting to bypass account restrictions, rate limits, or security controls
- Uploading malicious files or content that infringes another party's intellectual property (see our DMCA & Copyright Policy)
- Using the platform, its directories, or its contact information for unsolicited bulk messaging or spam
- Any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction
Business listing standards
Directory listings should reflect the business as it actually operates. Businesses claiming a "Verified" status must have submitted real, accurate documentation — see our Verification Policy.
Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, a warning, or account suspension/termination, depending on severity, at our discretion. We may act without prior notice for serious violations (fraud, impersonation, illegal activity).
Reporting a violation
Use our contact form with details and, where possible, a link to the profile or listing in question.
Contact
Use our contact form — we don't list a public email address to keep spam down, but a real person reads every message.
