Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms govern your use of Oversize Ops ("the platform"). By creating an account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you create a business account, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Accounts
Personal accounts are free. Shipper business accounts are always free. Transporter, Escort, and Broker business accounts include a trial period followed by a paid subscription — see Subscription & Billing Terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately via our contact form if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Business accuracy & verification
Business accounts must provide accurate information, including DOT/MC numbers where applicable. Submitting false company information, impersonating another business or person, or providing fraudulent verification documents is grounds for immediate suspension. Registering under the wrong business type — most importantly, a Broker representing itself as a Shipper (or a Transporter representing itself as a Shipper while brokering a load instead of hauling it) to avoid broker labeling or fees — is a form of business misrepresentation and is treated the same as impersonation: grounds for immediate suspension. See our Verification Policy for what a "Verified" badge does and does not mean.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: post false or misleading company or profile information; impersonate another business or person; attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with another user's access. See our full Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Joining a business
A personal account may request to join a business; the business administrator reviews and approves or denies that request. Business administrators are solely responsible for who they approve to represent their company on the platform, and for removing access when someone leaves the company.
6. User content
By uploading content to the platform (company logos, profile photos, bios, directory listing details), you grant Oversize Ops a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. You represent that you own or have the right to upload anything you submit. See our DMCA & Copyright Policy if you believe your copyrighted work has been used without permission.
7. Not a broker, carrier, or freight forwarder
Oversize Ops is a directory, routing, and operations-software platform. We are not a licensed property broker, motor carrier, or freight forwarder, and nothing on the platform should be construed as a broker service, a contract of carriage, or a guarantee of any kind between businesses. We do not conduct independent audits of, and are not in the business of assessing, the safety record, insurance status, operating authority, creditworthiness, accident history, or general suitability of any business listed on the platform. Any agreement — pricing, cargo terms, payment terms, liability for loss or damage — reached between businesses using the platform is solely between those parties. You are solely responsible for verifying another party's FMCSA/DOT operating authority, insurance, and safety record before contracting with them.
8. Routing tool
The route planning tool is a planning aid only. It is not a permit and does not replace independent verification or a state-issued permit. Full disclaimer: Safety & Compliance Disclaimer.
9. Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the cycle you select at signup. Prices and plans are shown at signup and may change with notice. See Subscription & Billing Terms and Refund Policy.
10. Platform payments
Oversize Ops is not a payment processor or escrow agent for transactions between businesses on the platform. Any payment a business collects from its own customers goes through that business's own payment setup, not through Oversize Ops. The only money that ever passes through Oversize Ops's own payment account is a Transporter's, Escort's, or Broker's own platform subscription fee.
11. Termination
You may stop using the platform and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, provides fraudulent information, or is used for unlawful activity, with or without notice depending on severity.
12. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and available but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oversize Ops is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for business decisions made using information on the platform, including routing suggestions, directory listings, verification badges, or AI assistant responses. Always independently verify anything safety- or compliance-critical.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Oversize Ops harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.

Use our contact form — we don't list a public email address to keep spam down, but a real person reads every message.
